# Wallet Safety

Wallet safety begins before a transaction reaches the blockchain.

## Official safety rules

1. Enter INOX products through [inox.network](https://inox.network/).
2. Confirm the full domain before connecting a wallet.
3. Read every wallet prompt.
4. Verify the selected network, contract, amount, recipient, and permissions.
5. Use a separate wallet for experimental on-chain activity when appropriate.
6. Keep seed phrases and private keys offline and private.

## INOX will never ask for

* Your seed phrase
* Your private key
* Remote access to your computer
* A transfer to “verify” or “unlock” your wallet
* An unofficial direct-message payment

## Signatures and transactions

A login signature should prove wallet ownership without moving funds. A blockchain transaction can transfer assets, approve spending, deploy a contract, or change on-chain state. Wallet interfaces should clearly distinguish these actions.

## Suspected impersonation

Do not continue the interaction. Save the domain or account handle, avoid clicking additional links, and report it through an official INOX support route.
